Welcome to The Prudent Farm. We are a growing website about learning and living a prudent life before the Lord. We will be mostly covering urban farming as I’m currently on 1/5 of an acer and live in city limits. So everything I will show you are things I have done on my own land and what I have seen from our church’s ministry farm that is on about 180 acer’s. I have learned a lot from reading books as well and I will be sharing from many of those so you can choose what you want to invest in for your own gardens, orchards, and permacultures.

I will also be sharing how we preserve our harvests and other interesting tidbits as we are learning. You will also want to keep up with my mom’s site ThePrudentWife.com where she goes into even more details than I do. We get to work together on the gardens.

I will also be sharing homeschooling class ides, resources I have personally used and loved, and other homeschooling things. I will also be sharing my brain journey through homeschooling as a dyslexic kid who did not read until they were 12. Then had two years of reading bliss before being in an accident that changed my brain so that I had to not only relearn how to read but first I had to relearn how to see again. So much content coming soon on my story and how we were able to homeschool through it all.
